I cannot wait for Spring. Not that our Winter has been bad, it's actually be pretty tame for a Canadian Winter out here on the east coast. We've only experienced a few snowfalls, in which the snow is mostly melted all away within a week. Nothing to complain about there, less snow is perfectly fine with me!
You see, the reason I'm looking forward to the warmer weather is all because of one thing, a dress. This past fall I was shopping at my local Value Village and I bought this great little dress. It is a cream color with a strawberry print all over it! It fits great and it's just so lovely! However, it doesn't quite seem like a "winter" dress. It kind of just screams warm weather and makes me think of running through a field picking flowers, or attending a fancy picnic. Time and time again I look at it in my closet and try to rack my brain for ways to "winterize" it. Maybe pair it with the right scarf, or cardigan? No, none of those seem right. It looks like I'll just have to wait a few more months.

Favorite Pictures: Christina Ricci
I've noticed a few times I'll end up doing a "favorite pictures of [insert celebrity]" and here I am yet again with another such post. This past month I can't count the amount of movies I've watched that have had Christina Ricci play some sore of role in it, okay I think it's only been about five or six but enough for me to think she deserves her own blog post. Enjoy.
What I Wore Yesterday
The mystery of the missing camera cord was solved! I can't really explain how it happened, it's still boggling my mind. Whenever my mama got home from work yesterday I was letting her know how confused I was that I misplaced it. I always keep my camera cord in my bag, along with my phone charger so I don't misplace them. Somehow, it had been misplaced though. As soon as I told Mama this she goes "well something happened that I can't explain, but when I opened my purse at work today this was in it" and she pulled out my camera word! What?! We have no idea how it got there, but I'm glad I found it.

Things I Love Thursday
I was planning on doing a "What I Wore Today" post but the cord for my camera has gone missing. Which is a major bummer but I'm hoping it will turn up somewhere, I just don't remember removing it from my bag. Weird! There is good news though, today my stepdad called up tech support and fixed whatever it was that was preventing my laptop from connecting to our home wifi! Even better than that is the fact that my new pink dresser has finally been moved into my room! Now to fold up my clothes and get them in there.
That's enough of from me though, this post is dedicated to the things I've seen online and the things I've lusted over this week. This week's edition of TILT will be a treat to all you cat-lovers!

I'll be honest, I don't know if I would ever wear this. Maybe this summer I'll try and hop on the crop-top bandwagon and maybe something like this would look cute over a little dress or something, but I still want it. It's cute, I love crocheted clothing, and even if I'd never buy it or wear it, it's nice to look at it!

So when I saw this, I squealed with excitement. I love teeth. I love my teeth, I love other people's teeth, I love reading about teeth, I love gong to the dentist, I love brushing my teeth. I'm just a teeth person. Now this choker is a little out of my price range but this lovely Etsy shop also offer more simple and affordable teeth necklaces and earrings. I think I'll be putting some money onto my PayPal account very shortly, because well to be honest, I feel like I need some teeth inspired jewelry on my body!

This print is titled "Bad Hair Day", and I think it's a cute reminder that everybody has bad hair days and you just have to smile through it!
Sometimes I think we all need a reminder of where our happy place is. Or simply a sign to let others know, "Hey this is MY happy place, go get your own!" hehe :3
A few summers ago my grandfather gave me one of his record players. It was probably one of the happiest moments of my teenage years. I have a nice little collection of records and there's just something that makes listening to music more fun when it's on a record player. The only thing is it's so big and really not that esthetically pleasing. This record player however is small, beautiful and my favorite color, yellow!

I love this black cat circus doll. I can just imagine him sitting on a bookshelf, or mantle or anywhere and bringing an eerie sort of happiness to my home.

It's simple, throw a picture of a cat on anything and I will dream about owning it. A perfect example is this cat scarf! Oh the wonderful outfits I could make, and the conversations it would start, how lovely, how dreamy...
Most of the awesome cat clothing I find is so expensive so it's nothing but a far off dream. This adorable shirt however is reasonably priced if I were to splurge on a shirt! I can see myself now just strutting around and showing off my cattitude, can't you?
Let's ignore the 50 dollar price-tag on these for a moment and just enjoy how amazing they look. Why aren't these more affordable, I think everybody should own a pair. I know what I'll be dreaming about tonight... (If you guessed Ryan Gosling you might also be correct, but I did mean the tights this time!)

Sunday Ramblings
I've been having some internet issues going on with my laptop when I'm at home, which is a bit of a drag. This means I've been mostly relying on my new iPod touch that I treated myself to with my Christmas money. Luckily it was the day I bought the iPod that I realized this problem, or else I'd be stranded without internet (which wouldn't be so bad but I don't like to think about it).
Lots of fun is being had with taking pictures and playing around with silly photo-editing apps and neat little games.
If you have an iPhone or Ipoud touch I highly suggest searching the app store for a free app called "Super Kawaii Mai" it's this game that I can't get enough of. Basically you are this cat, and you are trying to make it across the yard but have all these obstacles that come your way (they grow in number and type each level) and you have super cat powers to blast stars at them to get them out of your way. It's crazy, the audio is really annoying, but it's fun and I can't get enough!
My bedroom has finally started feeling like my bedroom. When my parents bought the house we are currently in I wasn't living with them, and when I moved back the room was already set up and I just kept it as is. The past few months I've finally gotten new sheets and blankets for my bed and decorated one of my walls. My broken dresser has been removed (it was just taking up room for a year without having any clothes in it) and my record player is finding it quite cozy in the spare bedroom. It makes the spare room a nice place now to read a book and listen to records, speaking of which I need to start reading more. The ugly corner desk that seemed to take up my whole room has been moved out as well, which is great since I didn't even use the desktop computer that it was holding up. Now the room has space, a little too much but once my dresser finds help in the house it will feel more cozy. The only thing left is a calender to find, and the thought of a nice little mat in front of my bed might be a good idea also!

We're in a mess babe, we're in a mess.
It's safe to say I'm in a bit of a blogging rut. Okay, honestly I've been in a bit of an overall rut about well, everything. Maybe it's part of not having a New Year's Resolution (or goals in general) or being unemployed at one of the hardest times of the year to find work, or maybe it's because I feel like I'm in a style rut most days, I'm afraid to really develop my own sense of style and that just ends up with me being unhappy with what I choose to wear. Regardless, I'm going to try my best to get myself out of this little funk and try to keep my positive thinking going and create beauty in my every day life. I need to break out of my comfort zone a little, create some things (even if they aren't as great as I'd like), get messy, laugh, and just enjoy life!
