I'm going to start doing a weekly post called "Wired In My Brain Wednesday" which will just be a small list of songs I've been loving lately. Provided with YouTube links of course, so you can listen to them for yourself.
Some songs I can't get out of my head today are:

Things I Love Thursday
This is my first installment of TILT, but I know it won't be my last! I don't have a source for all of my photos, they were just saved on my computer, sorry!
I love cat trees! I wish I had some fun things for Sirius to climb and lay on. Definitely something I want in a future house of mine for my furry friends!
This recipe for pumpkin/jack-o-lantern Rice Crispie treats! I can't wait to make these, simple and delicious!
I've always loved neat colored telephones, and I just can't get over how much I love this shade of green!
How can you resist the cuteness of this? I'm a sucker for cats.
Every time I make cookies I want to do this, I don't know what's stopping me!
I love pastel colored homes, and especially ones as beautiful as this.
I've been a Star Wars fan all of my life, and I love Halloween so this zombified picture of our favorite Sith is just great in my books!
What you loving this week?

What's Happening, Wednesday.
Today I finally got around to picking up and depositing my pay cheque, which is always a nice feeling. Before hand Dan and I grabbed some food. I had a grilled cheese and breadsticks and Dan had a tuna melt and fries.
Rufus and Rory's makes the best grilled cheese ever! |
I also did a little shopping. There's nothing quite like some retail therapy, am I right?
Isn't this purse the cutest? |

Hello Kitty earrings! |
New face scrub, I love this stuff! |
This cute kit was only $4, I might use it for Valentine's Day. |
I made a visit to Ardene, where I picked up three scarves for $10, you can't beat that price!

It's the most wonderful time of the year.
I love Autumn. I mean, don't get me wrong I love summer, but there's just something so magical almost about this time of year. Maybe it's the fact that Halloween is one of my most favorite times of the year.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving, so this evening I'll have a bunch of family arriving to eat at my place. In total there is going to be a crowd of 12 of us, which is exciting! We don't usually get many visitors in the run of a year, so we try to make the best of it. This year my sister is bringing her girlfriend Colleen and her children to dinner. The more the merrier!
Since today is more than likely going to be the last time we have company before Christmas, I took this opportunity to get a little bit of Halloween decorating done. We live in the country, and get a total of zero trick or treaters at Halloween, but that doesn't stop me from decorating! I snapped a few pictures on my cell phone that I'll share, so you can what I've got done!
I also finally decided on and bought my Halloween costume! I'm being a rag doll, I'm quite exciting about it.
Work is calling my name, I have to leave in ten minutes. I work until 2:30 then I'm coming home to get ready for our company. I'll leave you with a quick list of some things that I'm thankful for, enjoy the rest of your weekend!

- My cat, Sirius. He came into my life at a time where I really needed him and he will always be the love of my life.
- My best friend, Daniella. Even though she's half-ways across the country our bond is still as strong as ever. I honestly can't imagine life without her. I'm so thankful to have someone as amazing as her as my cousin and best friend.
- My mama! She's done a lot for me and my sister growing up, and it never stops. She is one of the most supporting people I know and I couldn't ask for anything more.
- Running water! I'm so glad I can drink my tap water and it is safe, and delicious and just the fact that I am lucky enough to have tap water.
- A roof over my head and food in the cupboards. Thanksgiving, Christmas and just normal days there are people all over who are struggling to find a place to sleep at night and don't know when there next meal is going to be. So many people take this for granted, please appreciate what you have!

Time for change!
Today I decided to change the title of this blog along with the looks of it. I like it, it looks pretty and maybe with me loving how it looks I'll be more inclined to update this. We'll see how that logic works out.
The past two nights I've spent at my grandparent's with my mom. It's nice to get away from home every now and then, a change of scenery and new conversation partners are always a plus! I've always loved sitting around the kitchen table at my grandmother's with my family and talking. Last night my grandmother was talking about this group that she's in. They meet once a week and there's always a different topic of conversation and they do little ice-breaker games and things like that. It sounded right up my alley. I'm lacking a lot in the friend department, and with my anxiety it isn't easy for me to just push myself to socialize (even though I love talking to people once a topic I feel comfortable comes up). It seems like the thing for me to do right now is to contact a counselor, I'm thinking of making an appointment with this one lady I used to see between the ages of fifteen and sixteen. I'm hoping she'd be able to refer me to some kind of group where I can be with other people and have a chance to talk about things and get to know people. I also wouldn't mind making talking about my anxiety some (since I haven't talked about to any sort of professional) and maybe work on some ways of tackling that since it now has been affecting my every day life more and more.
Earlier this evening my mom and I went for a short walk, I'm not not sure how far in distance we walked, or even how long we walked but it was nice. Tomorrow I'm attending a U-Fit class with her, I'm looking forward to a nice work-out! I figure there's nothing wrong with spending a hour doing some cardio and strength training while listening to great pump-up music and being in a group of positive people. Plus, I like having something to do. I really need to start searching for little activities to do during the week. Without having many hours of work a week I have a lot of free time, and I mean a lot so any little thing helps!

Disposable Camera - August 2011
Back in August I picked up a disposable camera and took some pictures, and as promised I'm sharing them all here. The second half of the bunch are extremely blurry due to the face that I scratched up the lens for blurriness just for fun. The next camera I get I'm not going to do that since well, I want more good pictures.

Long time no see...
Oops, I've been neglecting this blog. Sorry! I really do need to start updating more. I'm going to find some writing promts online and just use them when I don't feel like I have anything to update about.
Since the last update, I haven't continued with my Couch to 5K training. Which kind of dissapoints me, but I am too lazy. I have however been trying to get out and enjoy the wonderful autumn weather. The day before last I went for a great 6K walk with mama on the Confederation Trails. It was beautiful, I love this time of the year! Tomorrow when I finish work I'm going apple picking at a local apple orchard with my mom and my aunt. I'm really looking forward to it!
I had bought myself a Halloween costume already, but I'm having second thoughts. I was planning on being Vemla from Scooby Doo after so many people told me last year that it would be the perfect costume for me. I guess it's too perfect, because when I wear the clothing I bought (orange sweater - not a turtle neck but a high neck, red mini skirt, orange knee-high socks) just feels like I'm wearing clothes I'd normally wear. Halloween to me is supposed to be about dressing up, and feeling like you're dressed up and in costume. I think I'm going to switch up my costume idea, because I want to feel dressed up, not like I'm just wearing my normal clothes with a wig.
Until next time, take care and thanks for reading!
